ACCOUNT MANAGER
About the Role:
We’re looking for a personable and results-driven Account Manager to join our team at Harford Sound. In this role, you’ll play a key part in growing our client base, building and maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring the success of every event you help produce. If you have a deep knowledge of the live events industry, outstanding people skills, and a knack for solving problems on the fly, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do:
• Build Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, acting as their trusted point of contact.
• Grow Business: Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue potential clients in the live events industry.
• Create Solutions: Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and prepare detailed, accurate quotes and proposals.
• Oversee Events: Be present on-site to manage event setups and ensure everything runs smoothly, aligning with Harford Sound’s high standards.
• Stay Current: Keep up with trends, technology, and best practices in live event production to offer cutting-edge solutions to clients.
What We’re Looking For:
• Industry Expertise: A strong understanding of the live event production industry, including audio, lighting, video, and staging.
• Experience: A background in account management, live event production, or a similar role is essential.
• Connections: An existing network within the live events industry
• People-Centric: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Problem-Solver: Ability to think quickly, adapt to challenges, and remain calm under pressure.
• Organized and Flexible: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects, with a willingness to travel and be hands-on during events.
