Production Sales Manager

Full-Time | Harford Sound LLC

Overview:

Harford Sound is entering its next phase of growth—and we’re looking for a Production Sales Manager to help expand our reach. This role is designed for someone who knows the live events space, understands how to build lasting relationships, and wants to play a key role in growing an established production company.

This is a sales role inside a working production company. The right person understands live production, communicates well with clients, and is motivated to generate new opportunities while strengthening existing relationships.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive growth: Generate new business across concerts, touring, festivals, and live events, while strengthening relationships with existing clients.

  • Build relationships: Develop and maintain connections with promoters, venues, production managers, agencies, and event organizers.

  • Develop opportunities: Identify and pursue new clients, markets, and production opportunities.

  • Collaborate with operations: Work closely with project managers and technical leadership to ensure projects are quoted accurately and executed successfully.

  • Represent the brand: Be visible in the field on site, at shows, in meetings, and at industry events representing Harford Sound professionally.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in live event production, touring, venue production, or production rental sales

  • A strong communicator who builds trust easily with clients and partners

  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently

  • Understands production workflows including audio, lighting, video, and staging

  • Has existing industry relationships or the ability and drive to build them quickly

  • Based within reasonable proximity to Bel Air, MD

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: Competitive, based on experience and existing relationships

  • Commission: Performance-based commission tied directly to revenue generated

Warehouse Technician

Full-Time | Harford Sound LLC

Overview:

Harford Sound is continuing to grow and we’re looking for a Warehouse Technician to help support and maintain our expanding production operation. This role is designed for someone who enjoys working hands-on with professional production equipment and takes pride in keeping systems organized, repaired, and ready for show site.

This is a technical warehouse role inside a working production company. The right person is mechanically minded, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced live events environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support warehouse operations: Assist with equipment prep, QC, organization, and show returns across audio, lighting, video, and staging departments.

  • Perform repairs and maintenance: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment while helping maintain a clean and functional inventory.

  • Maintain equipment standards: Identify damaged or missing gear, track maintenance needs, and help ensure equipment leaves the warehouse show ready.

  • Assist with logistics: Support truck packs, rental pickups/returns, and general warehouse workflow during busy production periods. Occasional truck driving may be required.

  • Build and improve: Assist with fabrication, workspace improvements, custom projects, carts, shelving, and other shop-related builds as needed.

  • Provide occasional on-site support: Assist production teams on site for select events, installs, and support calls when needed.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in live event production, warehouse operations, technical theater, or related fields.

  • Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting and repair skills

  • Experienced with board-level diagnostics, soldering, cable repair, and electronic troubleshooting

  • Comfortable diagnosing and repairing professional lighting, audio, video, staging, or power distribution equipment

  • Familiar with multimeters, test equipment, signal flow, and general electronic repair practices

  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently

  • Comfortable working in a physically active warehouse environment

  • Basic carpentry, fabrication, or construction experience is a strong plus

  • Valid driver’s license and comfortable driving box trucks or cargo vans preferred

Freelancers should have:

  • A minimum 2 years experience in the industry

  • the ability lift 60lbs unassisted

  • Reliable transportation
